Our Mission
The key principle of Umbrella Slice is to reintegrate dormant used books into the market to reduce the need for more print and paper. The more used books available, the less demand for the same or similar new material. Another great benefit of reintegrating used books into the market is the ability to offer the reader the exact same material at a reduced price of the brand new alternative. Not all books that we recover will make it into our store, any book that doesn't hit the mark for us will be either reintegrated via donation to charity stores and other charity book projects. Any book that doesn't become reintegrated due to condition will be responsibly recycled to reduce the demand for deforestation.
